Smart LED light from Phosme – Transparency and light on a single product – Product photography for Website, Amazon and Ebay

These are very interesting products designed in Australia. The bulbs change colour depending on the environment. They sense the luminosity of the environment and select a combination of brightness and colours to match. They show warm and bright colours and delicate soft tones. You can turn it on and off twice and the LEDs will be all white.

They have a calming effect as the speed of colour changes and the combination of colours is quite pleasant. It is not like a Christmas tree light that makes me stressed. I enjoyed photographing this product and its technical difficulties.

To create these photos, I had to balance the external lights with the light generated by the product. It was not easy to capture the bright colours without over-saturation and with the preservation of shadow details. The light bounces inside the bulb and creates new reflections. Even the selection of which side of the bulb to photograph was not easy. The product looks very interesting and different from multiple angles.

This was an advertising photography job for a client to be used on their website but it is now also available on Amazon and eBay. We photographed them in our studio in Wantirna South Melbourne by the commercial photographer Jose Aguiar.

I love to see clients that invest in quality products but when the design is done here, it is just that much better. I enjoyed the technical challenges and the results. I hope you like it.
