A touch of color in a models portfolio photos
Young and modern portraits
Every other year I run a few testing shot sessions with models and actors. I use sessions to try a few new looks and to refresh the sample pages on the site.
In this session, we started with some corporate portrait poses that are going to be used as samples on the corporate headshots page and then moved to other more creative looks.
The model asked to have some colorful portraits and I loved the idea. I photographed other models using multiple colour gels at the same time as you can see on this link. This time, I decided to prevent the colors from reaching the model’s face and use a single color in each portrait. I think the results are perhaps less artistic but better photos for a model’s portfolio.
