Fine art photography in studio
I love this beautiful 16th-century painting! It is in one of my favorite museums in the world, the Uffizi Museum in Florence.
We tried to replicate the original masterpiece look with Ivy and Claire. Check the result here, share if you want, and let me know what you think.

The original painting
Tiziano Vecellio (Titian) 1485-1576
Flora, 1488-1576
Oil on canvas, 79.7 x 63.5 cm (Tiziano Room, Uffizi Gallery, Florence)
Titian, also known as Tiziano Vecellio, was a highly acclaimed Italian painter in the 16th century, acting as a leading painter of the Venetian School during the Renaissance.
Flora, also recognized as the beauty of Venice, is the main subject holding a bundle of flowers in her hand. Some say the woman was the artist’s lover, the name Flora was just used as a means of expression.
Overall, the painting expresses a desire for beauty and elegance from the artist and society. These traits were implemented into the photographs as inspiration from the fine art original.
“This work is with strong and intense topicality, the beauty of Venice in the oil painting was holding a bunch of flowers. The whole image was like the blossoming flowers, which makes people couldn’t help admiring. It was said that the beauty in the picture was the lover of the painter. He just borrowed the name of Flora to express his admiration for his sweetheart. The beauty turned to look down, dedicated and contemplative. It seemed that because of the turning action, her loose underwear fell naturally. The plump breasts appeared the golden hair sprinkled on the round shoulders, in sharp contrast to the full-life body. The robust body revealed the youth’s vigour. The entire image gives audiences a sense of elegance and solemn.”
